The zipped image files in this directory are interleaved using the inverse of the interleave scheme used by PDP-11 and VAX RX50 disks, so writing the files onto raw disks on those machines (using COPY/FILE/DEV or UNIX "dd" or whatever) will be straightforward. The images will be useless anywhere else though since nothing supports this format. To write disks using PUTR, do the following: (C:\)>FORMAT B: /RX50 (C:\)>MOUNT B: /RX50 /FOREIGN (C:\)>COPY/FILE/DEV file.dsk B: If you want to take a look at the disk now, type: (C:\)>MOUNT B: (C:\)>DIR B:
